Every now and then I come across a family that makes me want to edit every single photo in black in white. I didn't, but not because I didn't want to. Thank you Barsottis for such a fun and relaxed morning in your home. By the end of our session I was ready to move in.
Max & Beau
Max, Beau, and their mama met me at the Cosumnes River Preserve in Galt a couple weekends ago. We snapped some photos, licked some lollipops, and *enjoyed* some wilderness.
Baby Ruby
In my years of photographing and parenting newborns, never have I ever met a more calm and happy wee one. Ruby was a DREAM! Hoping she keeps it up all the way through her teenage years.
Carucci Family
How precious is this family? Vuk (some people call her Lindsay…?) and her family met me at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano for these photos. If I lived in Orange County, 100% of my photo sessions would be here! Thank you Caruccis for cracking me up all morning. If you are in to wine, do yourself a favor and try out CARUCCI wine. You won't regret it.
Hastert Family
I knew I would love Jake when he quoted the same ridiculous movies I do and shared the same adoration for donuts and my dear friend Turi. Turi is the one who keeps everyone in touch and simply makes you feel loved. It's no surprise their little man has an infectious smile and independent spirit. We got together while I was in Southern California in adorable San Juan Capistrano. I have so much love for these three.
Ryan Family
A couple weekends ago, I ventured down to San Diego to visit some of my best girls from UCSB. This lovely lady earned the nickname "Mama Meg" 12 years ago when her late night quesadillas blew minds. She is expecting her second little one this fall and is the epitome of "Mama."
Maggie + Gökhan
My beautiful [step] sister Maggie married the love of her life a couple weeks ago. She has been living in Turkey for two years and when she brought her man home this summer to marry him, we had no idea how much we would love him and how perfect they would be for each other. Gökhan, you are so warm and kind and we are all so lucky to have gained you as a family member. Mags, you done good.
I snapped a few photos before the photographer arrived... and then a couple after…
