This adventuresome and kind duo is tying the knot this August, about a year after first meeting. If any of you know my story, you know I can relate to what they told me, "Why delay the inevitable? When you know, you know." Kristin and Gabe, thank you so much for having me. I can't wait for the big day!
Gadd Family
Ashlee is one of those people you can't help but love. She is a writer, a photographer, and an entrepreneur. She joined my village via a weekly playgroup and when Chandler couldn't stop talking about Ev and how nice he was, I knew we would be fast friends. She and I share clients, information regarding photography and business, and a love for Parenthood (I'm referring to the the TV show...). When Ashlee told me she'd rather have two cranky kids than bad light, we scheduled our session at bedtime and hoped for the best. Thank you Gadd family for exceeding all expectations and for traipsing in with the snakes.
Hansen Family
The Hansen family is one of my all time favorites. Savannah and Chandler are close buds and Elliot is already smitten with sweet Vivienne. Heather and John are fellow Gauchos (class of '05! whoop!) with a soft spot for movie lines and Jurassic Park. I just can't say enough about this group. We took these photos at the McKinley Park Rose Garden in East Sacramento. Enjoy!
Lauren + Dave Maternity
This is one of those families that just makes you feel good. They are loving, nurturing, and constantly cracking each other up. Del Valle was a stunning setting for our early morning session and gave me even more appreciation for the beauty of my hometown. Hey Fiona, you are going to be the best big sis EVER!
Baby Norah
When I arrived at Megan and Paul's adorable home in Livermore, sweet Norah was wide awake and happy as a clam. Her eyes peeked out around her daddy's arm and sized me up. I think we became friends by the end! Megan and Paul, you are so kind and gentle; Norah is lucky to have you.
Baby Lily
Michelle and Carl are that couple that make life look easy. They live in a stunning San Francisco home steps from the Palace of Fine Arts and just welcomed their first baby, sweet Lily. They have entered parenthood with patience and a sense of humor and Lily is no doubt going to be a happy and well-loved little thing. Thank you M+C for having me!
